Language Testing for Express Entry

Proof of Language proficiency in one of Canada’s two official languages is required – English or French.

For English, language testing centers can be located worldwide in almost all countries and all major cities.   IELTS scores are accepted as proof of language proficiency.  Bands have been structured (more information in the FAQ section) to assign points based on IELTS scores achieved.
